Advocus welcomes Ami Oseid, who has 30 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate, from FHA, NSP, development, and new construction to multi-million dollar residential and commercial transactions.
During her first 20+ years practicing in the Chicago area, almost all parties engaged real estate attorneys to represent their interests. In 2018, she moved to northwestern Illinois where agent-driven title companies dominated and no attorneys participated in real estate transactions. The only local title company that would work with her was NLT, then an ATG company, now Advocus. The idea that practices could vary so widely within 50 miles made an impression.
Ami's experience with Advocus has come full circle: In 1995, ATG was the first to approach her about why becoming a title agent is the best way to serve real estate clients. In 2025, Ami is excited to work with Advocus attorney agents to help preserve the valuable role you play for your clients' protection.
Ami has a passion for ensuring proper representation and protection for Buyers and Sellers while preserving the critical role real estate attorneys play on both sides of every transaction.
